Inclusion of UTVs in Golf Cart Ordinance
The Village of Hinckley has recently changed the golf cart ordinance to include utility vehicles or UTVs. The requirements to register a UTV with the Hinckley Police Department are the same requirements as golf carts. The Village allows golf carts or UTV owners to operate on Village streets, excluding Lincoln Ave (Route 30). Owners must meet the requirements and register their machine with the Hinckley Police Department in order to be legal, failure to do so may result in a fine.
